P.Terry Powell, is a husband of 22 years, and a dad of seven.
After reading the FairTax Books and questioning why America hasn’t changed to a more logical and transparent form of taxation, the answer became clear. Most Americans are unaware of the personal and economic growth that will occur by transitioning to the FairTax plan. As a former small business owner himself, he holds a belief in free market enterprise and Americas entrepreneurial sprit. It is with that purpose he designed and developed "The FairTax Game", an economic board game that reveals two very different "fiscal" paths...the one we are on and the one we could be on.
His plan is to "Simply Educate America” and bring an understanding of the Fairtax to the forefront.
How the Game is Played
The game is played with 2-6 players, ages 13 and up. Each player can choose to be either an employer or employee. As you travel on one of the game boards “two path” design, players will encounter various life, economic, and tax scenarios. Through this interactive play, it will reveal and express the contrast of these two paths, as well as, the likely impact each will have on Americas economic future. Is it a path to financial freedom or economic hardship…Which path will you take?
